We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, such as to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users, and send product updates and administrative messages.
3. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. In Katalogo POS, this includes:
- Local-first with cloud sync — your data is available on your device and synchronized securely when you are online.
- Workspace isolation — each business workspace is kept separate so users only access their organization's data.
- Encrypted connections — data in transit is protected using HTTPS/TLS.
- Role and PIN access — permissions by role (admin, manager, cashier) and optional terminal PIN unlock for register use.
- Server-side secrets — sensitive credentials for billing and administrative operations are kept on secure server infrastructure, not in the public application.
- Cloud hosting — the Service runs on established cloud platforms with infrastructure-level security safeguards.
4. Your Controls
Workspace owners and authorized admins can manage their data from Settings, including:
- CSV export — download exports of customers, inventory, and transaction logs.
- Workspace reset — permanently remove operational data from a workspace when authorized.
- Team access — manage staff roles and register assignments.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this privacy policy or in connection with the Service.
